Presidential TFRs

At Signature Aviation, we are committed to making every second exceptional for our guests. With that in mind, we wanted to share a reminder about Presidential Temporary Flight Restrictions (Presidential TFRs).
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issues Presidential TFRs anytime a president travels. We anticipate an increase in Presidential TFRs for our West Palm Beach, FL location (PBI) where the President maintains a residence.
When a Presidential TFR is in effect, general aviation flights may be subject to additional security protocols, diversions and other service interruptions. Keep reading for ways you can stay informed about disruptions.
What you can do
- Monitor NOTAMs. Check for Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) regularly to that you have the latest information on TFRs and other airspace restrictions. Update your flight plans accordingly.
- Consider signing up for travel alerts. Signature provides travel alerts to keep our guests informed about operational advisories. Sign up here.
- Prepare for additional requirements and screening measures. If you fly through an area under a Presidential TFR, you may need to take additional action such as registering at least 24 hours in advance and undergoing enhanced screening measures.
- Consider Other Signature Locations. If you would not like to undergo the additional screening measures or are unable to fly through PBI due to a Presidential TFR, consider one of our nearby locations if practicable. These include our BCT (Boca Raton), FLL (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), F45 (West Palm Beach, FL), and OPF (Opa Locka, FL).
- Contact Our Private Aviation Terminal. If you have questions regarding your upcoming travel plans, contact the Signature location using the information on our website.
Inbound screening locations are HPN, TEB, IAD, MCO, and FLL. All Signature locations at these airfields are approved gateways into PBI during TFRs.
We understand that these restrictions can cause inconvenience. We appreciate your understanding and will keep you informed as we receive additional information.

TEB - ALL
Operations InformationSignature TEB West, East, & South - Teterboro, NJ
TEB is currently experiencing high volume. Reservations may or not be available. Please contact your destination TEB Terminal for current availability
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED AT SIGNATURE TEB – 6-hour minimum notice required to avoid a No Reservation Fee (PPR Fee).
As we continue to create an enhanced experience for you at Signature Teterboro (TEB), we are transitioning to a mandatory reservation policy at our TEB locations. Beginning Saturday, February 1, this policy will take full effect in order to meet guest needs, streamline operations, and ultimately reduce gridlock and aircraft taxiing time so that we are able to create an exceptional experience for you at every turn.
Reservations Required: We ask that you make a reservation prior to your arrival at any of our TEB locations. This can be done easily through our online reservation system or by calling our local guest experience team at +1 201-288-1880. If you need changes or to cancel existing reservations in the future, please inform us at your earliest convenience.
No Reservation Fees: While reservations will be required, there will be no fees to make a reservation. However, there will be a fee associated with landing without a prior reservation. Failure to make a reservation six hours or more before your time of arrival or departure will result in a No Reservation fee.

Due to construction as part of the Stormwater Improvements Project at BCT, the Boca Raton Airport will begin nightly closures on Tuesday, 9/2/2025, at 9 PM. These closures will continue from Sunday nights to Friday mornings between 9 PM and 7 AM. Starting Tuesday at 2330L, 9/2/2025, Palm Beach Int'l Airport (PBI) will have both runways closed daily from 2330L-0600L Monday - Thursday. (Four Nights Weekly). Airport Operations will be restricted to the smaller general aviation runway only (length 3,214ft x width 75ft) and Helicopter Operations. Please contact Signature PBI for assistance when planning your travel to West Palm Beach.

PDK
Operations InformationSignature PDK - Atlanta, GA
Due to an infrastructure project at the Dekalb Peachtree Airport, there will be expected runway closures. See the updated project details below.
Runway 3R/21L Keel Replacement Project (Updated):
Due to additional preliminary work that is needed to begin the project, the contractor has requested an additional week to perform necessary work to ensure the safety and quality of the project. The new scheduled start date will be Monday, 9/1/2025; please note, the runway will close at 2300L on 9/1/2025. The specifics of the project will remain unchanged; the duration of the entire construction project will still be 105 days, with Runway 3R/21L being closed for 67 days beginning with Phase 1.
During Phase 2, Runway 16/34 will be closed along with Runway 3R/21L for 20 days. Please plan accordingly with this secondary closure and note that Runway 3L/21R will be the only runway open during this time. All phases (1-5) of the project will be a 24/7 operation. This delay will also extend the preliminary nightly closures that are needed to begin the construction of the project. Continuing this week Runway 3R/21L will be closed nightly 8/20/2025 - 8/22/2025 (2200-0700). The nightly closures will continue next week 8/25/2025 - 8/29/2025 (2200-0700).
Further details regarding project phasing, secondary runway closures, and potential operational impacts will be communicated in the coming days. As our team receives updates from the Airport Authority, we will share them promptly with all guests.

NEW
Operations InformationSignature NEW - New Orleans, LA
Starting on July 14th, 2025, through December 28, 2025, Signature NEW will change its operating hours. Normal business hours will be from 0600 to 2200 daily. From 2200 to 0600, we will operate on an on-call basis.
The Signature NEW team will accommodate any reservation made after normal business hours, with team members coming in early or staying late. For pop-up requests after hours, an on-call team member can be reached by calling the base number at 504-241-2800. If the after-hours phone cannot be reached, the Assistant General Manager, Frank Guzman, can be reached at 832-883-8727.
All after-hours reservations will be charged an after-hours fee of $72.00 per hour per employee. All pop-up trips that require the on-call employee to come in from home will be charged a $120.00 call-out fee in addition to the normal after-hours fees above.

Operations InformationSignature LAS - Las Vegas, NV
Please be advised, on 10/7/2024 Signature LAS will begin a construction project which will lead to limited ramp capacity. Please note that PPR's are required at the LAS airport.
During this timeframe, the available ramp space for aircraft parking may be reduced. The ramp capacity will be assessed continually, so please make your reservation as early as practical and secure a PPR number. Customs and Border Protection operations will not be affected by this project.

Operations InformationSignature GLA - Glasgow, Scotland
Due to construction, Signature GLA (Glasgow, SC) has temporarily moved to a new building for the duration of the project expected to be complete in October of 2025. We ask that you please use the following temporary information when arriving at Signature GLA:
- Temp FBO address: Whitehouse, Glasgow Airport, Abbotsinch, Paisley, PA3 2AY
- Temp FBO Directions: Continue along Abbotsinch Road as normal until you reach the first roundabout on Abbotsinch Road, turn left onto Arran Avenue and left again around the Whitehouse building (building on the corner) into the car park.
- Access: Temp FBO is fully landside, not situated beside an airside access point. Please expect travel times to and from aircraft to be 5-10 minutes longer than normal. This will include going through a Security Post to go airside where Signature staff will assist with the process.
- Parking: Overflow parking is temporarily available at the original FBO. Signature will advise when this changes.

SUPER BOWL
Rate InformationSignature HWD, OAK, SFO, SJC - San Jose, CA
Due to anticipated high traffic during Super Bowl week, special event fees will be in effect at SJC, OAK, and HWD from February 4–10, 2026. Please contact the base via phone or email to make a reservation.
